This is the personal consulting website of Yousef Ahmed. The only place it collects information is the project inquiry form in the Contact section. This page explains what that form does with what you enter.
Project inquiries
When you submit the form, the information you provide — your name, work email, optional company name, the type of work you select, and your project details — is sent by the website's server to hello@yousefahmed.dev so the inquiry can be answered. The email is delivered through Resend, the service the site uses to send mail, and your work email is set as the reply-to address so a reply goes straight back to you. Your email is never used as the sender address. The website does not save inquiries to a database or any other storage — the server sends the email and keeps nothing.
How the information is used
The information you submit is used only to review and respond to your project inquiry. It is not sold, and it is not shared with anyone beyond what is needed to deliver the email to the mailbox above.
Spam protection
To reduce automated spam, the form includes a hidden field that real visitors don't see, a check on how quickly the form was completed, and a short-term limit on how many times one IP address can submit within a few minutes. The IP address is used only in the server's memory for that limit; it is not saved or logged.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand overall traffic and how visitors use key parts of the site — for example page views, which calls-to-action are clicked, and whether the inquiry form is started and sent. These analytics events are configured not to include the contents of the project inquiry form: your name, email, company, and project details are never sent to Google Analytics.
Cookies and local storage
Google Analytics sets a small number of first-party cookies to measure visits (for example, to tell repeat visits from new ones). The site also keeps two values in your browser that never leave your device: your light or dark theme choice, and a flag so the logo animation only plays once per visit.
Storage and retention
Inquiries arrive as ordinary email in the hello@yousefahmed.dev mailbox and are kept there like normal correspondence, for as long as they are useful for replying and for basic records. They are not stored anywhere else.

To ask what inquiry email is held about you, or to ask for it to be deleted, email hello@yousefahmed.dev.
Changes
If this policy changes, the “last updated” date above will change with it.
